FAQs
What’s the difference between a Company Name and a Display Name?
Your Company Name is your official legal business name - used for contracts, billing, and content licence agreements.
It must be accurate, as it appears in the legal attribution of uploaded content and within our Terms of Service.
Your Display Name is what contributors see on your campaign pages, success screens, and email communications.
It can match your brand name, store name, or community identity.
Tip: Keep your Display Name friendly and recognisable - it helps build trust and encourages participation.
Can I manage multiple brands under one 82DASH account?
Currently, each 82DASH account is linked to one legal company name and brand identity.
This ensures all licensing, consent, and content usage rights remain tied to a single legal entity - keeping everything compliant and transparent for both brands and creators.
If you manage multiple brands, you can create separate accounts for each one.
This keeps campaigns, licences, and analytics properly separated and avoids compliance issues.
At this time, multiple brands under one account are not supported, but this feature is on our roadmap.
For now, we recommend one account per legal entity to ensure accurate licensing and GDPR compliance.
Is 82DASH the same as user-generated content (UGC)?
Not quite. 82DASH focuses on customer and community generated content (CGC) - authentic submissions from real customers or their community. It’s about trust, not reach.
Do I need a Shopify store to use 82DASH?
No. Shopify is one of several integrations. You can also upload CSV reward codes or run campaigns without connecting an eCommerce platform.
How do contributors get rewarded?
Creators receive rewards through Apple or Google Wallet cards and email.
Rewards can include vouchers, discounts, entries into prize draws, or other exclusive offers.
Can I use the collected content in ads and marketing?
Yes. Every upload comes with the proper licence and consent for marketing use.
Brands can use the content across social, digital, and print channels in line with the 82DASH Terms of Service.
Is 82DASH GDPR-compliant?
Yes. All data processing, storage, and consent management comply with GDPR and CCPA standards.
Companies act as Data Controllers; 82DASH operates as the Processor.
How is this different from influencer marketing?
Influencer marketing relies on paid creators and scripted content.
82DASH focuses on real customers and communities - collecting authentic moments that naturally represent your brand.
Can I request a feature or integration?
Absolutely. You can share ideas and feature requests in the Changelog & Requests section of your dashboard.
We’re building 82DASH in public - your feedback shapes what comes next.
